Trawick USA Plan

This is an EXCESS temporary accident and sickness medical coverage. It covers Non-US citizens while traveling to the USA and then going to other countries.

Covers Unexpected Recurrence of a Pre-existing condition up to $1,000. Covered enroute to USA and in countries while on the to the USA or the way home as well as countries on the itinerary. Coverage can initially be purchased for a minimum of five (5) days up to a maximum of 364 days. There is a $10 minimum premium. If a minimum of 5 days is purchased, the coverage may be extended, at the rates in force at the time of extension. This plan is not available to US Citizens, US Residents or US green card holders in the USA or US green card holders traveling to the USA.

This plan is not available to any individual who has been residing within the United States for more than 365 days prior to their Effective Date. COVID-19 EXPENSES are covered and treated as any other sickness. See Plan Summary for details.

  • Unexpected Recurrence of a Pre-Existing Condition - Included up to $1,000

    • Emergency Medical Evacuation - Up to $2,000,000 per Policy Period

      Return of minor children or grandchildren or Travelling Companion - up to $5,000 per Policy Period

    • Political Evacuation - $25,000 per Policy Period

    • Natural Disasters Evacuation - $10,000 per Policy Period

      Up to $250 per day to a max of 5 days for Reasonable Expenses

      Must be officially declared a disaster area by the appropriate local government authorities of the Host Country, and the area is deemed to be Uninhabitable or dangerous.

    • Repatriation of Mortal Remains - 100% up to $50,000 per Policy Period

    • Local Burial/Cremation - Up to $5,000

      Does not cover funeral costs. Make sure to read the Description of Coverage/Policy for full details of coverage. Pre-existing conditions are not covered.

  • Trip Interruption - $5,000

  • Accidental Death and Dismemberment - $25,000 Principal Sum

  • Up to $50,000 - provides coverage while performing, practicing, or participating in Class 1 or Class 2 Sports only. Extreme Sports are excluded.

    • Class 1: archery, tennis, swimming, cross country, track, volleyball, and golf.

    • Class 2: Class 1 and ballet, baseball, basketball, cheerleading, equestrian, fencing, field hockey, football except division 1, gymnastics, hockey (no league play), karate, lacrosse, polo, rowing, rugby, soccer, and softball.

      Any Sport Activity not expressly listed is excluded unless the activity is non-contact and engaged in by You solely for leisure, recreation, entertainment, or fitness purposes.

    • Extreme Sports: means any high-risk non-team sport or recreation activity that is dangerous and if performed optimally, even by the highly skilled, risks loss of life or limb.

      Extreme Sports often involve speed, height, a high level of physical exertion and/or highly specialized gear.
