Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption Benefits

• Trip Cancellation — If you cancel your trip for a covered Reason, the Trip Cancellation benefit in our plans reimburses unused, nonrefundable payments or deposits for the travel arrangements you purchased for your trip.

• Trip Interruption — If you interrupt your trip due to a covered reason, the Trip Interruption benefit reimburses you for unused nonrefundable, prepaid travel arrangements and additional transportation costs to join your trip, rejoin your trip, or travel to your originally scheduled return destination.

  You can't cancel or interrupt your trip for reasons not listed in the plan document, unless you buy optional Cancel for Any Reason coverage* or optional Trip Interruption for Any Reason* benefits.

  *These coverages are available at an additional cost and are subject to certain eligibility criteria.

• Trip Delay and Missed Cruise/Tour Connection — These coverages are also provided and include benefits that are triggered by events detailed in the plan document.

• Emergency Accident & Sickness Medical Expense

  Seven Corners Trip Protection provides emergency medical coverage for accidents and illnesses that occur on your trip.

• Emergency Evacuations

  Our Emergency Medical Evacuation benefit covers expenses to transport you to the nearest medical facility where treatment is available if you incur a sickness or injury that is acute or life-threatening during your trip.

• Protection for Your Belongings

  The Baggage and Personal Effects benefit covers your baggage and personal items if they are lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed during your trip or while checked with a common carrier.
